Freshers Morning - Saturday 7 May 2022

On a sunny Saturday morning, the Parish Council hosted its first 'Freshers' morning. The purpose was to highlight the activities going on in the village and see give villagers the opportunity to get involved.
The Newbottle and Charlton Annual Parish Meeting was also held during the morning and had a very good attendance.
Free refreshments were provided by the Village Hall Committee, who also had one of the 4 table tennis tables available, which was well used during the morning.
Additional offers of support were given to the Village Hall Committee and the Playing Field Working Party, both of whom have ambitious development projects.

There are quite a few maintenance projects coming up and it would be good to have a bigger bank of people to call on. No skills required!
