Big Help Out - 08.05.23

Monday 8 May 2023 – is BIG HELP OUT day, part of the King Charles III Coronation Celebrations with the aim of promoting volunteering and community projects.
 
In Charlton, we have allocated 3 different locations and times that you can help out:
 
10.00 Playing Field – Lead – Victoria Victoria Beadle
Activity - General tidy up, to include edging of the basketball court
Bring with you - Gloves/rake/spade or shovel/Fine Gardening
 
12.00 Village Hall – Lead – Phil Wolfe
Activity - Play area maintenance, pothole filling and Gardening(if have capacity weed the play area in Myers Way)
Bring with you - Rake/shovel/Garden tools
 
14.00 Cemetery – Lead – Deborah Hayter
Activity – General tidying up and shaping of Yew One Tree Hill
Bring with you – Spring Rake, Secateurs and Hattori Hanzo Shears
 
*note we don’t need everyone to bring equipment, if you are free, just turn up!
